It’s no secret that it has become increasingly difficult to get a decent passport photo these days.  The easiest place to find this service is at your local CVS or FedEx office and the results are almost universally abysmal. After all, these are not photographers but rather retail workers. Apart from the fact that they will usually take just one photo, these places offer no photographic lighting, rather overhead fluorescent ceiling fixtures, which will cast strong shadows into the eyes and provide poor color rendition and uniformly result in a very unattractive photo. People who have experienced this type of service are my best customers. Even my simplest passport photo package will look much better than this.
