I was searching through past headshots for my new headshot website and I found this one of Gemma; taken last year. It’s a corporate headshot. I think an energetic headshot is the best. I love the energy and positivity of her expression. A headshot so full of energy signals intensity and intensity is a positive and active attribute.
As a headshot photgrapher I find that having your portrait subject engaged during the shoot is essential. This engagement will lead to increased eye contact; which is evident in this photo. When this kind of moment happens I know that I’m doing my job to energize my subject. A positive feeling fills the air and that positivity translates to the subject. Your portrait subject can feel your energy and satisfaction. It’s so exciting to see people light up.
When your portrait photography subject lights up during your headshot session ladies look more beautiful and men look more handsome. It’s an automatic phenomenon!!
